Liz Brunton

I have been a registered midwife since 1973 and have been practising as an independent midwife since 1991.

My work experience includes positions as a staff-midwife and charge-midwife in hospital environments, midwifery tutor at polytechnic for six years and independent practice for the last five years. I have recently taken up a full time teaching positon at Massey University in Wellington, but continue to practice midwifery part time.

I work within a midwifery model, partnership orientation:
- Wellness focus, woman/family centred.
- Practice "Total Midwifery" but will share care with a specialist if the need arises.
- Support women where-ever they wish to birth, home or hospital in the Wellington region.
